Like many soon to be 1L's I have found myself obsessing over finding out everything possible about the law school experience. Over time my endless hours on LSD led me to the blogs listed under my favorites. I have found "my people." The people who speak to me and what I expect to be my law school experience. Everything from the massive fear of debt to the nagging desire to stick with a budget, a work -out plan and study schedule. I've followed their ups and downs and I don't feel so alone.
A few notable commonalities among these people are that they are all very goal oriented. They create challenges such as the "100 day challenge" I found this on the Legal Optimist's blog challenge no make-up or clothing purchases for 100 days, and they document their progress. This not only inspires me but keeps me accountable. I also appreciate the candor and find myself literally laughing out loud and then sharing the blog with all my friends. I hope that the unusual situations I find myself in daily will provide for some interesting reading but most importantly I hope this will serve as a productive outlet during this grueling and scary time in my life....
I hope to be painfully honest in this blog so I will probably change up scenarios and disguise parts of my stories to maintain my anonymity. Last thing i need to do is lose my job over my indiscretion.
good luck to all the bar takers!

Hi! I am enjoying reading your blog. Like you were at this time, I am a JD hopeful and am completely obsessed. And it's only January.
