Wellness-Fitness-Life

I am FAT! While dating LSBoy, I was either desperately depressed and not eating, or crazy busy and active. Now, I am fat and happy. Except, I am unhappy because I am so fat. Here are my thoughts: First, being well is generally a good life choice. Secondly, when shopping for a lawyer I wonder how important is it to a client that a lawyer appear well put together? Obviously, a healthy, well put-together, attractive person will appear to be more capable, right? Personally, I would analyze every aspect of the lawyer when interviewing them to take my case. For example, I know lawyers who have cluttered offices with paperwork everywhere, boxes of paper line the halls, and trinkets clutter the desk. To me this gives off the impression of someone who is chaotic. An outward chaotic appearance implies a chaotic, disorganized thought process. Therefore, I would deduce that this lawyer was disorganized and probably not a good fit for me. Based on the foregoing (lol) I believe it is best to be clean, organized, and in good health. This means clean bright skin and teeth, a fit body, professional attire, and a clean office. Admit it or not, everyone is in a better mood when they are in an aesthetically pleasing environment. This includes pleasant smells, pleasant things to look at, soothing music, paint, fresh air, etc.

Budget

Whoa, Wells Fargo has this tool where you can look at your spending habits. Among many other phobias I have, I am deathly afraid of looking at my bank account. Today I took the plunge and spent too long agonizing over my awful spending habits. I waste so much money it's not funny. This is not prudent considering I will be unemployed soon and for a few months while studying for the bar exam.

My Plan

Get healthy, mind-body-spirit. This should also reflect on my bank account because i will spend less money on eating out.

I need to lose 20-lbs. I looked at the "cave-man" aka paleo diet and it's not for me. I don't like meat enough to eat that way. I think a Mediteranian diet would better suit me since I love produce. Cut sugar, cut carbs and I should be fine. I definitely need to get back to the gym.

I was posted in Germany for a couple of years in 2004. My basic job profile was more of sales/client relationship management. That meant travelling most the times- eating pizza, wursts(susages) and while on my way back from meetings beer to go. Result I was at least 20kg more than what I should have been.
I lost 17kgs of those in 2007/08. How? Picked up Squash(or Racket sport in US). We just fell in love with the game- running around chasing the rubber-ball like kids. We use to be out of our house by 5:30am to reach the courts. Either my body was aching or I was on the court any given day.
JUST find one vigorous activity that you can love. The weight will take care of itself.

JUST find one vigorous activity that you can love AND a good partner. The weight will take care of itself.
